Business meetings are the first Thursday of each month, followed by an Officers meeting. Training is ever Thursday at 7pm (Intermediate & Advanced) and Monday at 7pm (Rookie & Basic). Westfield also attends Harris County and NWFD field days at Texas A & M. Westfield has 12 personnel SFFMA certified at the Advanced level, 6 as Intermediate, 3 as Basic, 4 as rookies, 10 as level I instructors, 8 as level II instructors, 4 State certified Fire Investigators and 1 Building Inspector. Westfield also has 3 EMT-P, 2 EMT-I, and 4 EMT-B, and 95 % of membership is CPR trained and are cleared to operate the S.A.E.D. Westfield was one of the first Departments to implement, use and enhance the Incident Command system.
